Amanda Britt is a passionate performer and educator with a degree in Music and a Theatre minor from Winthrop University. She began her performing career in college, taking on memorable roles such as Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance, Nadia in Bare: A Pop Opera, and Rapunzel in Into the Woods.
Since then, Amanda has become a familiar face on the local stage, performing in numerous productions at the Arts Center of Kershaw County. Favorite credits include Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Vi in Footloose, Alice in The Addams Family, Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act, Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense, and Sandy in SpongeBob the Musical—not to mention the time she heroically stepped in to replace a 10-year-old in BOTS!
She has also performed with Broadway Bound in Annie Warbucks and The Secret Garden. Offstage, Amanda teaches musical theatre classes, music directs, and directs shows, sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of performers.
